Our history
At Eventscope we understand that in business, connections are everything. We know how important networking is to companies eager to spread the word about what they do and reach new customers.
Eventscope was founded in 2003 to make it easier for delegates to communicate with each other before, during and after events and conferences.
Traditionally, event organisers have been reluctant to reveal details of their contact lists for both commercial reasons and a wish to preserve privacy. But in today’s hyper-connected world, this simply isn’t good enough for many delegates who want to be able to get in touch with each other quickly and easily.
To solve this dilemma, we created Eventscope Online Networking, which offers a secure way for delegates to communicate with each other without revealing any contact details. We set up unique, private and branded networks for each event where attendees can chat with each other, arrange meetings and promote their businesses.
Our mission
We know that Eventscope helps delegates to make the most of the event they are attending. Our mission is to do everything we can to make that networking aspect simple, easy and fast. Adding people to your event’s network is quick and easy – all you need to do is email us with the list and we will do the rest.
Keeping it simple
Although thousands of people have used Eventscope to arrange meetings, we are not a meetings system. We’re not a calendar system either. Instead, we’ve purposefully kept things incredibly simple: We give your delegates the ability to see who’s coming to your event (whilst protecting the integrity of your delegate list data).
Attendees can browse the list of attendees that you’ve provided. All we need from you are:
- first name
- last name
- company name
- job title
- email address
The delegate’s email address is never shown on the system. Only first name, last name, company name and job title. What else do you need to decide if you want to connect?
When a delegate comes across someone they’d like to connect with, they can send a brief message to them through the Eventscope system. That’s all. That’s it.
The recipient receives an email from the Eventscope system with that message — and they can choose to reply, or ignore.
Whether they arrange a meeting, have a coffee, or arrange a Zoom call… it’s up to them.
We don’t allow spam. We don’t allow Sales people to spam the attendee list either.

Since Eventscope began in 2003, it has been used for thousands of events. Our customers come to us time and again because our system is effective, reliable and offers good value for money.
One of our major clients is the Informa Group, with many of its divisions choosing to use Eventscope for their events.
We are based in the United Kingdom, but we are proud to work on an international level with event organisers from all over the world.
